Once again last in the que of hungry gamers are the Europeans. About 3 months ago both the Americans and Japanese got the Nintendo DS and went crazy, but once again the Europeans were left out in the cold, having to wait a lot longer to get the new piece of hardware.
But enough crying and whining, I imported mine anyway so NOE isn't getting my money, here it is, today it the day... Europe gets Nintendo DS'ed.
The good deal for the Europeans is that there's a lot more titles to choose from, 15 titles to be exact:
Asphalt Urban GT (Ubi Soft) Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits (Namco) Ping Pals (THQ) Pokémon Dash (Nintendo) Polarium (Nintendo) Project Rub (Sega) Rayman DS (Ubi Soft) Robots (Vivendi Universal) Spider-Man 2 (Activision) Sprung: The Dating Game (Ubi Soft) Super Mario 64 DS (Nintendo) The Urbz: Sims in the City (Electronic Arts) Tiger Woods 2005 (Electronic Arts) Wario Ware Touched! (Nintendo) Zoo Keeper (Ignition)
The games are being sold here in denmark from about 350 to 450 DKK, which is around US$58 - 75, but keep in mind that the dollar is very weak these days, however I still believe that the game price is a bit on the wrong side.
The unit retails for about 1300 DKK (US$216) which once again seems a little bit on the wrong side compared to the world market, but Nintendo's prices in Europe has always been a bit too high.
Well congrats to Europe anyway :-)
