American Video Entertainment, an unlicensed American video game publisher, didn't have any in house game development and a the majority of the games were licensed from Asian companies such as TXC Corp, who also was responsible for Poke Block. The name didn't seem to be good enough for American Video Entertainment who renamed the game to Stakk'm before planning a release, that never happened - sort of.

Stakk'm was supposed to be published like any other release at the time, as a single game cartridge. But I suppose someone at American Video Entertainment realized that "hey we can't make any money off this junk" and they decided to scrap the idea and instead include it in their MaxiVision 30in1 cartridge, which later shrunk to only 15 games.

A funny bit about Poke Block and Stakk'm though is that Poke Block has Idea-Tek credited on the titlescreen while American Video Entertainment credits TXC Corp. in the altered Stakk'm version. I suppose the two companies are related in some way, but who knows.

Either way Stakk'm managed to sneak into the MaxiVision 15in1 and thereby didn't go by totally unreleased. Prototypes of both Poke Block and Stakk'M have surfaced.
